Today we closed down the garden for winter. Pond pumps shutdown. Pond nets on. Tropicals brought into the grow room. Bird feeders all cleaned and put up for the winter. Broken deck lights repaired. Blew a batch of leaves into the woods. Prepared a feast of chicken bones and grapes for our possum friends who visit nightly. I’m pooped! Now I am firmly planted on the sofa watching a horror movie (Tomb of Ligeia) with a glass of whisky. I’ve earned it!
