To be clear, I hold myself to some very high standards as well; however, I know those standards are my own and achievable - and I rarely struggle to meet them, unless I'm in dire need of rest. The one big change I've made is to recognize the early warning signs and heed them. The contingency planning that comes with that I can handle. The key was knowing what to expect.
