I'm upset my long streak of not having any cold/flu/covid for over 6 years is broken & I'm sick with something. Testing today & again in 24 hrs & again in 48 hrs. I've likely caught something while at work or from one of the medical waiting rooms where people are unmasked. I'm upset majority of folks stopped masking & don't care about disabled people like me.
I really hope the tests are all negative results. Have to take time off work to recover from whatever I'm sick with & can't afford to miss too much work; financial insecurity anxieties are stressful. I've canceled all plans for a week & will probably have to cancel my birthday plans too. I'm contacting some colleagues to see if anyone can help me with client support work until I recover from sickness.
I'm super bummed out, feel like shit & an gonna go cry like a baby now. I'm quite upset.
