Dude, german mobile internet would middlefinger you into orbit for having that many connections open XD
Granted, I have no iPhone, so no idea if Damus actually opens _that_ many simultaneous connections. But to my experience, once you reach ~200-300 concurrent connections, things just crawl. The fewer the better - and this may just be part of how our mobile infra is built to be completely fair. xD
But jeebus christ o.o Thats a lot.
damus does not seem to do anything (afaik i does rate limiting as well)
