So, Google wants to crack down on APKs to prevent people from having open-source alternatives and to consolidate the monopoly of big tech companies. What made me hate Google the most is that Google lied by saying it wouldn’t impose APK restrictions, but months later it reinstated APK restrictions, saying it wouldn’t back down because everything was decided and it wouldn’t listen to anyone challenging that decision—and that’s why the alliance of alternative app stores like F-Droid, Aurora Store, and Aptoide sued Google over it.
