Yes, that is the sad truth. The industry has fashions and is a victim to fashion. See the obsession with kubernetes which is not necessary for 90% of all companies. yet, many insist and pay waaaay too much for their IT-environment by trying to squeeze this tool, intended to manage google size environment into the tiniest ones, that could be handle by two servers in active/passive move.
It is very sad.
