I overheard someone say to his friend “my heart rates like 104 bpm”
What ever happened to saying “I’m excited” or “I’m nervous”???
Must we reduce everything to a number? It seems benign, but we live in an age where we are constantly bombarded with data, and that has an effect on how we perceive things.
