Turns out that my messages of the last days are indeed only picked up by 1 or 2 relays. I'm pretty sure this has to do with PoW score.
I can imagine relays have tightened hard to fight the wave of spam.
But if that's the case, new users will have a hard time reaching anyone at all. Sounds like this could seriously block adoption, while the more established accounts don't even know about it, because their PoW is high enough.
Ha, while writing all this, I now see in Coracle (npub13my…v3qk) that my earlier note has been picked up by 6 relays, where it said 1 relay just a few minutes ago. Interesting times...
